Extensions and alterations to 11 Mount Pleasant, Norwich
Originally built in the early 1800’s and arranged over 4 floors, this beautiful Georgian family home in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich was extended, altered and refurbished to a very high standard, receiving an honour from the Norfolk Association Of Architects Design and Craftmanship awards. A large, single-storey extension provides a stunning, open plan kitchen/breakfast area with a vaulted roof and exposed oak trusses, rooflights and a bespoke glazed gable. An additional link extension creates access back to the main house itself and allows for a truly unique ‘floating corner’ set of bi-folding doors that connects to a very private courtyard garden. At the opposite end of the extension is a spacious walk-in pantry, utility room, boiler room, garden store and a covered loggia for creating a new secondary entrance to the house.
